Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Rowee Andrew Apor, an individual based in the Philippines, who operates Nibbo as a personal project ("Nibbo", "we", "us"). Nibbo is not yet incorporated. These Terms govern your use of the Nibbo iOS app, the Nibbo website, and any related services. By creating an account or using Nibbo you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nibbo. By using the service you represent that you are 18 or older. You are responsible for the security of the Apple ID or Google account you use to sign in to Nibbo, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may have only one Nibbo account at a time.

2. Beta service

Nibbo is currently a closed beta. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice during the beta. We may also discontinue the beta with reasonable notice; before deleting active beta account data we will give at least 30 days' warning by email or in-app notice.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Nibbo — recipes you save, meal plans, grocery lists, notes, and feedback. You grant Nibbo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display that content for the purposes of operating and improving the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are legally required to retain a copy.

4. AI-generated content

Nibbo uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic and Google) to extract recipes from posts you save and to consolidate grocery lists. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong: ingredient amounts may be off, steps may be missing, and the model can hallucinate items that were never in the original post. You are responsible for verifying any recipe or grocery list before you cook from it, eat the result, or buy ingredients based on it. Nibbo does not provide medical, nutritional, allergen, or dietary advice. If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or medical condition, do not rely on Nibbo's output.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. For serious or repeated violations we may do so without prior notice.

6. Third-party services

Nibbo depends on third-party services to operate, including Apple, Google, Anthropic, PostHog, and Sentry. Your use of Nibbo is also subject to those providers' own terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or actions of those providers, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep Nibbo working when a provider changes behavior.

7. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your Nibbo account at any time from the iOS app. Deletion immediately severs your identity (Apple and Google IDs and email are nulled, sessions are revoked) and your account record together with all related content is permanently deleted within 30 days. Deletion is irreversible. See the Privacy Policy for details.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you would expose Nibbo or other users to significant risk. Where reasonable we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nibbo is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted service. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, safe, or complete (see section 4).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Nibbo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. The operator's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Nibbo in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one thousand Philippine pesos (₱1,000). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Nibbo from any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any third party's rights.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the courts of the City of Manila, Philippines, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you have under your local law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email. Continued use of Nibbo after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms; if you do not accept them, delete your account before the change takes effect.
